N2 - In this paper, we approach to robustness of circadian rhythms from the viewpoint of (local) robust stability of periodic trajectories. We use the core molecular model proposed by Goldbeter (1995) for cases when the circadian rhythms are not only subjected to periodic forcing by light/dark (LD) cycles but also under continuous darkness. We propose conditions/algorithms to test the robustness for both cases.
