Abstract

The introduction of photovoltaic power generation has been increasing rapidly. Recently, the novel PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model has been proposed aiming at further introduction of solar power generation in Japan. In the model, an electric power retailer installs its own PV system on the premises or roof of a customer and sells the generated power to the customer during long contract periods as well as power utilities. In this paper, we calculated the profits of the electric power retailer and CO2 emissions, customers costs in the PPA model and propose the design method of a power supply plan.
