Optical frequency control by using optical single-sideband modulation technique

Abstract

We propose an optical frequency sweeper with an optical single-sideband modulator, by sweeping electric signal frequency in the driving circuit. Undesired sidebands due to electric phase errors can be compensated by optical bias control.
