Abstract

Cobalt sulfide containing the thiospinel Co//3S//4 component is the effective catalyst for oxygen electroreduction. The parallel mechanism of four-electron direct reduction and two-electron reduction including further two-electron reduction proceeds on the most active cobalt sulfide electrode in 0. 1 M KOH solution.
