Abstract

This paper proposes a bit metric derivation method for OFDM adaptive array in combination with channel coding. In the proposed approach, post-FFT processing is adopted as an OFDM adaptive array architechture and the bit metric required for channel coding is derived considering the effect of the residual CCI signals in the array output of each sub-channel. The transmission performance is evaluated in the presence of severe CCI channels by means of the computer simulations and the effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated compared with the traditional bit metric method.
