Abstract

The transmission of a WLAN 802.11g signal over a seamlessly integrated radio-over-fiber and millimeter-wave-wireless system at 90-GHz band is analyzed theoretically and experimentally evaluated. We successfully transmitted and demodulated the signal at 18 Mb/s and 24 Mb/s using QPSK and 16-QAM modulation over the proposed system. It is shown that the quality of signal transmission was satisfied compared to the standard.
