Abstract

In this presentation, we describe recent progress of high-speed and precise lightwave modulation technologies based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer modulators, such as parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators for multi-level quadrature amplitude modulation. We also discuss importance of high extinction ratio modulation.
