Abstract

We present recent progress of high-speed electro-optic device technologies for radio-on-fiber (RoF) systems. Digital and analog signals can be transmitted over a fiber, in RoF systems. Advanced modulation technique is also very important both in wired and wireless systems. Multi-level quadrature amplitude modulation signal can be synthesized by using parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators.
