Abstract

An experiment was conducted to obtain blow-molded macroscopic bubbles of mesoporous silica using supramolecular templating approach. The silica-surfactant mesostructured materials were prepared using tetramethoxysilane (TMOS) and hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC). Results show that it is possible to prepare many bubbles during one batch experiment.
