Abstract
The development of gene delivery technologies is required using novel nonviral lipids. In this paper, we synthesized hydrolysis of the lipids from amino acids. Our synthesized hydrolysis of the lipids have glutamic acid or lysine skeleton as a hydrophobic part and have glutamic acid as a hydrophilic part. We studied the release of fluorescent from liposome induced by the hydrolysis of the amino lipids. We reported the synthetic methods of the lipids and evaluated the characteristics of the lipids. Furthermore, we prepared liposomes having the amino lipids as a part of membrane components and evaluated their release of liposomes.
