Abstract

A discussion covers the Process Intensification method of the distillation process of separation; model of an internally heat-integrated distillation column with concentric type and compact heat exchanger type; separation and operation performance; function and performance of conventional distillation separation process; and energy saving performance. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 2007 AIChE Annual Meeting (Salt Lake City, UT 11/4-9/2007).
