N2 - We propose a maximum likelihood decoding scheme with decoder's partial cooperation, in which only unidirectional information passing is possible, for correlated parallel channels. We derive a bound on the probability of decoding error for the proposed scheme with a coset code ensemble by using randomized technique. From the property of the derived error exponent, we show a condition that the scheme achieves the capacity region. We compare the proposed scheme with other possible scheme with decoder's unidirectional cooperation.
