Reciprocating optical modulation for millimetre-wave generation

Abstract

We discuss photonic millimetre-wave generation using an integrated reciprocating optical modulator consisting of a pair of fibre Bragg grating and an optical high-speed phase modulator. High-order sideband components were effectively generated by reciprocating modulation process.
