Abstract

One of polarization diversity techniques in offset-frequency-spaced two-tone optical coherent detection scheme for radio-over-fiber systems is investigated. A combination of constellations recovered from two orthogonal-polarization components is proposed and the diversity effect is experimentally demonstrated.
