Abstract

Human proto-oncogene c-ues-1homologous to the viral oncogene (v-yes) of an avian Y73 sarcoma virus -was mapped to region q21.3 of chromosome 18 by in situ hybridization. This finding confirmed and more rigidly substantiated the previous assignment which was based on analyses of human X mouse somatic cell hybrids and Southern blots.
