Resonant tunneling phenomena in ultrasmall Josephson junctions

Abstract

A resonant tunneling phenomenon in a current-biased ultrasmall Josephson junction is predicted. It is shown that the tunneling is possible only at discrete values of bias current due to the quantization of the Josephson plasma oscillation.
