Abstract

In the presence of a catalytic amount of RhCI(PPh3)3, an intramolecular cycloaddition of cyclopropene-yne proceeded along with carbon-carbon bond cleavage of cyclopropene ring to give various bicyclic cyclopentadiene derivatives in good to high yield.
