    Abstract

Innovative concept of SCOT (Smart Cyber Operating Theater) presumes development of the computer-assisted system based on dedicated information technology for guidance of the complex neurosurgical procedures and easy assessment of their results by the independent observers. It is based on constant monitoring, recording, co-registration and archiving of the various data within advanced medical information analyzer, which permits fast extraction of the required parameters from the database and significantly facilitates their use during decision-making. Use of this device may result in prominent increase of the safety and reliability of the clinical practice.
