Abstract

In-plane shear tests and loaded fire tests on post-shear test specimens are conducted on one-story tall conventional post-beam wooden walls retrofitted with both-sides panels for the improvement of seismic and post-earthquake fire resistance. The tests have verified high shear and post-earthquake fire performance of 12.5mm thick structural gypsum board, high density gypsum fiberboard, and ceramic-sidingandsteel-sandwichpanel externalwalls.
