Abstract

It is important to analyze stability in communication systems. Research in this area has been carried out on various systems. Most of the research to date has been carried out in the case where uniform loads are applied to the system; however, research in the case of nonuniform loads is insufficient. In an actual network, it is rare that a load is uniform, and, hence, an analysis for the case of a nonuniform load is necessary. In this paper, a method for system analysis with a nonuniform load is discussed. While the information flow in an information network is recognized, state equations are derived and the stability is discussed by means of the Liapunov function. As an application of the present analysis method, completely connected networks are chosen. The stability of the steady-state is discussed when traffic concentration occurs. The threshold call generation rate that does not cause congestion is determined.
