Abstract

Prestressed precast concrete members are applied to offshore structures. Many methods for joining these members mutually are proposed. The methods used for offshore structures should be examined to know their reliability because of the restriction of performance in severe natural sea environment and the appropriate safety against huge wave forces. The mechanical properties of five kinds of joining methods are studied.
