Abstract

We had indicated communication services using multimedia scalability packages, which can provide multimedia information according to functionality and availability for users. In this paper, we propose the coding method of video information architecture in these packages, which are called "MSP". This paper defines MSP data structures using hierarchical architectures. Especially, we considered temporal feature information. The temporal scalability concept is described by both of MSP data and scalability content data. And then, as coding schemes, we attention to video hybrid scalability using spatial scalability and temporal one and scalability profiles are shown.
