title = "Thermal comfort and reduction of solar heat load in the car cabin",
abstract = "Radiation heat from the sun has huge influence on the thermal environment of the car cabin. An experiment was held to compare two car cabins. One has normal glass and the other has glass with high insulating performance. The result of the experiment shows the difference of thermal environment and passengers' votes in two cabins. The air temperature and the mean skin temperature were low in the car with high insulating glass. Also the sensation of hotness and comfort were better controlled. The reduction of solar radiant heat into the car cabin could be one method to make the environment more comfortable.",
