Abstract

Semantic grid computing provides a shared computing environment with geographically distributed resources. These resources status changes dynamically and the type of applications to be executed also changes in time. In this paper, we proposed an adaptive mechanism in the semantic grid environment to reduce the efforts to configure and enact application workflows. Some applications were used to describe the proposed mechanism and as a proof-of-concept. Preliminary results provide insights on workflow verification issues and applications workflow.
