Watt-order direct green laser oscillation at 522nm in Pr3+ - doped waterproof fluoro-aluminate-glass fiber

Abstract

We have demonstrated a high power green watt-order fiber-laser with a Pr3+ -doped waterproof fluoro-aluminate glass fiber. The maximum output power of the 522nm laser beam was measured to be 1.53W.
