Abstract

This paper reports efforts to measure the crossectional void fraction distributions in a square array, simulate BWR 8 multiplied by 8 rod bundle and judge the kind of flow pattern, using the x-ray CT (computed tomography) scanner. Two-phase flow pattern as well as the void fraction distribution may be monitored.
