In this study, a field survey was conducted to investigate thermal comfort differences between office A aiming for a uniform environment and office B with environmental selectivity. As a result, a negative correlation was confirmed between unacceptability and thermal environment satisfaction (r = 0.42) in office A, but a positive correlation was confirmed between pleasantness and thermal environment satisfaction (r = 0.29) in office B. Therefore, it was shown that while it's important not to feel unacceptability in offices aiming for a uniform environment, the feeling of pleasantness, rather than the occurrence of unacceptability itself, improves thermal environment satisfaction in offices with environmental selectivity.
