抄録

We study a LiNbO ₃ light modulator with a resonant type electrode operating at 60GHz band. In modulating 1.55μm wavelength light in on-off keying, 3dB modulation band width is IGHz around 57.4GHz band and the product between driving voltage and modulation length is 3.3Vcm. This type of modulator is very useful for millimeterwave photonics.
