N2 - The energy-saving effect of the use of a wayside energy storage system (WESS) power control method is improved by increasing the controller gain of the WESS for DC-electrified railways. However, excessive gain may cause instability. Therefore, this study proposes a method for designing a charge/discharge current controller.
