抄録

Various kinds of marine concrete structures have been developed in Japan. Most are port and harbour structures such as breakwaters, piers, revetments and so on. These structures are constructed in plain, reinforced and prestressed concrete besides steel and stone. Nowadays marine concrete structures are constructed in deep water areas. To cope with the severe natural environment and the demand of low construction cost, new types of marine concrete structures are proposed. In this report, the concept of new types of marine concrete structures are introduced.
