An experimental device of semi-actively controlled damper using Electro Rheological Fluid (ERF) has been manufactured for the purpose of reducing G-jitter in various experiments and observation missions utilizing space environment. Through tests with the ERF experimental model developed, the characteristics were identified and analytical assessment on simulation model based on the tested data was conducted. This time, Compatibility and safety factors were incorporated into designing, examined solutions to prevent contamination due to leak of ERF, and also investigated how to make lighter and low-electricity consuming device without deteriorating damping performance. With the results of those, we've developed a new model and tested its performance. It was verified to have higher quality in terms of practicality and performance than the preliminary model.
