N2 - This PGM content iron nickel alloy is treated with a copper smelting process, and copper and PGM are recovered, however, nickel is lost to slag. A fundamental study of the oxidation process was carried out to recover the value metals of nickel, platinum and palladium from PGM content iron nickel alloy. Distribution ratio of iron, nickel, platinum and palladium between the iron oxide slag and molten copper is measured the range of log pO2 between -9 and -5 at 1573 K.
