Smart home scheduling, one of the most powerful technologies for electric power control from demand side, has been attracting rapidly growing interests. In this paper smart home scheduling algorithms are proposed for a single user and for multiple users to reduce total monetary cost. For a single user a game theory based method is proposed where each home appliance is regarded as a player and scheduling for appliances is iteratively optimized. For multiple users mixed strategy is adopted instead of pure strategy to reduce congestions of appliances on the current cheapest time interval. Experimental results show that both the scheduling for a single user or multiple users outperform the latest existing work both in terms of total monetary cost and execution time.
