N2 - Activity-Based Working (ABW) is a new style of working proposed in Europe and the United States that selects the seat that match the work. In this study, we conducted multiple surveys to determine the influence of ABW on productivity. Satisfaction of subjects such as office workers was examined in both an ABW and a traditional office. Based on questionnaire results, changes were made in the ABW office layout to resolve sources of dissatisfaction. A questionnaire and field survey were conducted once more to evaluate the effects of the remodeling, and the ABW office and traditional offices were again compared. As a result, compared to a traditional office, we found that the ABW office contributed to improvement in the intellectual productivity of office workers.
