title = "Gas hydrate production from geological formations as transport phenomena",
abstract = "Efficiency of gas production from naturally occurring methane clathrate hydrate is governed by processes of fluid and heat transports as well as kinetics of the hydrate dissociation. Past numerical and laboratory studies on gas hydrate dissociation have revealed critical parameters to the dissociation processes. Field studies have been done for data acquisition and verification of production techniques. According to the results of those studies, natural gas hydrate deposit can be dissociated continuously by simple depressurization under a certain condition.",
