abstract = "High performance biomolecules sorting microsystem was realized using the thermosensitive hydrogel (block copolymer of poly N-isopropylacrylamide and poly oxyethylene: Mebiol GelTM). High speed switching of about 5 msec was performed by the 3-D sheath flow and flow resistance change caused by the sol-gel transfrormation of the hydrogel with the focused infrared (IR) laser. Considering the actual applications, the microchannel structure was designed to control sample and carriers with only one pressure source. 1.5 millions of mitochondria were successfully separated by this system with accuracy of more than 92.5 % during 60 hours.",
