N2 - In this paper, to provide high-quality and high-visibility surveillance, we introduce video surveillance system equipped image enhancement system. Because quality of enhanced image heavily depends on encoding characteristic, we evaluate the subjective and objective image quality of image enhancement under various video encoding rates by using night and day sequences.
