This paper shows the effects of the thermodynamic properties of several working fluids and operating conditions on the dynamics of condensing process from the network theoretic viewpoint. The authors have presented an approach to modeling of the dynamics of shell-and-tube type heat exchangers. These models are integrated to apply a wide variety of heat transfer modes, namely, condensing, evaporating, and heat transfer without phase change. We now present a more specific version of the condensing process. Investigation of the effects of thermodynamic property and confirmation of the validity of an approximation of internal energy with enthalpy are presented. As working fluids, R11, R12, R22, R123, R134a, ammonia and water (steam) are examined.
