抄録

Electronic states in solids under extremely high magnetic fields are of interest in relation to a phase transition such as the Wigner crystallization and the charge density wave (CDW) transition. An anomaly recently discovered in the magnetoresistance in single crystal graphite in high magnetic fields at low temperatures appears to be one of such phase transitions. In an earlier paper, we have investigated the amount of the change of the magnetoresistance at the anomaly in pulsed high magnetic fields. In this paper, we investigate the Hall effect and the A. C. magnetoresistance in higher fields.
