N2 - The first thirty coefficients of a proposed series solution for a fundamental problem in nonsteady diffusion to a rotating disk have been evaluated. The results obtained raise serious questions not only with respect to potential practical applications of such a solution, but also in regard to the claimed convergence character of the series. Certain difficulties related to the numerical determination of these coefficients are discussed in detail.
