One-minute separation of biological compounds using pillar array column with low dispersion and low pressure-drop turns

抄録

This paper reports a fast separation of biological compounds on pillar array columns with low dispersion and low pressure-drop (LD-LPD) turns using pressure-driven liquid chromatography. We found that a pillar array column with LD-LPD turns is useful for efficient and fast analysis of biological compounds. With high flow rate, one-minute separation of fluorescent derivatives of six amino acids was successfully performed. The analysis time was only one-fifth compared to a corresponding result using a pillar array column in a previous work. This result indicated that one-minute separation of complex mixtures could be realized using pillar array columns with LD-LPD turns.
