Dealing with the bodily actions which are expressed unconsciously in the process of communication, a robot was developed with which eye movement and blinking, and movement of the neck can be expressed as if these are portions of the speaker's body. Communication experiments were conducted between remote locations using the robot to examine its efficacy as an information transferring media. A remote communication system can be developed in which the sharing of the context can be realized by employing the real actions of the robot serving as a communication media.
