抄録

Phenoxy radical-substituted polythiophenes were obtained via the oxidative polymerization and the following chemical oxidation. Micro comb-shape electrodes with various sizes were prepared using micro-fabrication techniques. Electric conductivity measurement of the radical polymers and their precursor polymers with the comb-shape electrodes revealed that radical generation influenced the conductivities of polymers. We discuss about the effect of radicals upon polymer conductivities through the conductivity measurements of polythiophenes added with small amounts of radicals or the precursor molecules. Conductive characteristics of polythiophene/gold nano-particle alternate network films are also reported.
