N2 - Preferential immobilization of a protein by using a nano-patterned organosilane monolayer as the template was investigated. A passivation film of an organosilane self-assembled monolayer was formed on a silicon dioxide layer by chemical vapor deposition. Then, the inside of the pattern was modified with active chemical groups. At each step, a fluorescent image of the fluophore-labeled biotin, the avidin, and the green fluorescent protein (GFP) was obtained by fluoroscent microscope.
