Our purpose is to prepare microsheets having recognition proteins on their surface as a platelet substitutes. Latex beads physically coated with human serum albumin were specifically adhered to the surface of a hydrophobic- patterned (5μm × 10μm) substrate and were thermally fused at 70°C for 30 sec. These processes were confirmed by microscopies such as SEM.
