抄録

Cage-type silicate with a double six-ring (D6R) structure is successfully functionalized with dimethylsilyl and dimethylsilanol groups. The dimethylsilanol-functionalized cages are assembled to form a 1D structure through intermolecular hydrogen bonding of the silanol groups between the cages. These results will contribute to the development of a building-block approach for the creation of ordered siloxane-based nanomaterials.
