abstract = "With the expanded spectrum allocation as specified in RR5.564A, the 300-GHz band facilitates the development of high-capacity backhaul solutions for fixed services, utilizing its broadband capabilities in the context of 6G communications. The authors have focused on high-efficiency transmission surpassing that of single-carrier systems, culminating in the completion of a prototype OFDM transceiver equipment for proof-of-concept purposes. This paper presents the design of each block comprising the RF front-end, which includes a power amplifier and mixer circuit utilizing InP-based high-electron-mobility transistors within the 300-GHz band, 47 dBi lens horn antenna, a low-loss dielectric multi-layer multi-element patch antenna for beam-forming and a wideband baseband for amplitude and phase compensation in multicarrier modulation. Furthermore, results from demonstrative experiments are discussed.",
