Once disasters, accidents or fires occur, rescue teams turn out and take rescue actions immediately. In such cases, rescue members need to communicate constantly with each other in the site, and it is also important that the members' location and situation are informed to the base station to manage them effectively. In order to enhance security and work efficiency of rescue teams at the scene of disasters, a remote monitoring system which can keep track of team members' situations and help every member to communicate during operation has been developed. In the system, ZigBee devices are used as a wireless communication method, and acceleration data corresponding to members' action is used for detection of their action patterns and locations.
