title = "Research on energy reduction methods using IoT (Internet of Things)",
abstract = "The Paris Agreement, a legal framework for all the member states to challenge the reduction of greenhouse gas after 2020, was adopted. Japan promises to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 26% by 2030 compared to 2013. In particular, as much as about 40% reduction in the architecture sector is set. The energy reduction is required for existing renovation in addition to for new construction. To achieve this goal, innovations are necessary not only in terms of the performance of architectural skeleton and building facilities, but also in terms of human factors. In this paper, we propose a system that contributes to change the behaviour of residents as well as to save energy and improve the thermal environment in an experimental house simulating renovation work.",
