N2 - This paper proposes a simple series form formula of the bit error rate (BER) for DQPSK/OFDM with differential detection under comprehensive nonlinear fading channels. The proposed approach aims to derive the theoretical BER in the presence of both the nonlinear distortion and the inter-symbol interference (ISI) which are the essential factors in evaluating the comprehensive performance of OFDM signals. Since the proposed formula is composed of the simple series form expression, the time-consuming simulations could be avoided. The validity of the proposed approach is confirmed by the agreement with the computer simulation results under various kinds of system parameters such as the input-backoff (IBO) and the multipath delay.
